Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you ("you" or "User") and TIAN LYU ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the Carry application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of service

Carry is an iOS travel packing-list app that helps you assemble packing checklists before a trip — based on travel scenes such as road trip, long-haul flight, or tropical beach — and reminds you with local notifications.

The App is a local-first tool: it requires no account, no network connection (except optional iCloud sync), and stores all data on your device.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the Apple App Store terms, solely for personal, non-commercial use.

You must ensure that any content you input does not infringe upon any third-party rights or violate applicable laws. Because we do not collect this content, we cannot review it.

5. Intellectual property

All content within the App — including but not limited to code, design, graphics, icons, user interface, text, and trademarks (including the "Carry" and "TIAN LYU" names and marks) — is owned by TIAN LYU and/or their licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

The license in Section 3 does not constitute a transfer of any intellectual property rights.

Exception: User-created content (your trips, custom items) belongs to you. We claim no rights over such content.

7. Service provided "as is"

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we:

Important notice: Item suggestions provided by the App are for reference only. For critical items such as documents, medication, and safety gear, please verify them yourself and do not rely solely on the App. We are not responsible for any loss caused by forgotten items.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TIAN LYU and their affiliates shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, including but not limited to:

If the foregoing limitation is not enforceable in your jurisdiction, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months. As of the effective date of these Terms, the App is offered free of charge, and that amount is therefore zero.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be released through App Store updates and the "Last updated" date will be updated.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept, please stop using the App.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding its conflict-of-laws rules).

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to a competent People's Court at the operator's place of business.

If you reside in another jurisdiction, you may enjoy specific consumer rights under local law that these Terms do not limit.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Carry Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TIAN LYU regarding the App, superseding any prior oral or written agreements.
